The standard fan unit is switched on by the control system of the drive
when the DC link has been charged. The fan unit continuous to run for a
preset time after the main power has been switched off to remove the heat
from the interior of the cabinet.

When a standard fan of the drive or a fan of the transformer fails, the
control system of the drive automatically switches on the stand-by fan.
The CDP control panel of the drive indicates a failure of a fan as follows:
■ CoolCircuit1Alm if a fan of the drive fails
■ CoolCircuit2Alm if a fan of the integrated transformer fails
■ The alarm - fault lamp on the door of the control compartment starts
to flash.
