6.3 Grounding Cable

This section describes the structure and technical specifications of the grounding cable.

6.3.1 Introduction

When the Eudemon8000E is installed in a cabinet, connect the ground cable of the chassis to
the ground terminal on the cabinet. The ground cables on the front, back, and side doors of the
cabinet have been correctly connected before shipment.
If the device is not installed in a cabinet, connect the ground cable of the chassis to the ground
terminal on the ground block of the equipment room.

6.3.2 Structure

The terminals on ground cables vary with the devices to which the cables are connected. Two
commonly used terminals are OT bare crimping terminal and JG2 double-hole bare crimping
terminal.
