If there is excessive refrigerant, not all of it will be

evaporated and part of it will be sucked into the
compressor in liquid form, which will cause the
compressor to compress the liquid and may
damage the components.
q If water gets into the refrigeration circuit, it will
freeze at a small hole in the expansion valve,
lower the refrigerant flow, and may result in de-
fective air conditioning.
