Introduction
This troubleshooting information describes the most common alarms and gives
typical symptoms, causes, and items to check before contacting Customer Service.
Equipment Needed
You may need the following equipment to troubleshoot the chassis.
• Digital voltmeter
• Fiber connector cleaning materials
Additional Assistance
If you need additional assistance, telephone one of our Technical Service Centers or
your local sales subsidiary.
Troubleshooting

this product. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to
qualified service personnel.

correct optical amplifier faults.
