Restoring Factory Defaults
WARNING!
All configuration information is lost, and the unit is
restored to all factory defaults when the reset button
is pressed. This includes the IP address information.
The encoder may need to be reset to factory defaults if you forget the password,
or the unit becomes locked and unresponsive. The unit will restore factory
defaults by pressing the recessed reset button with a paper clip for about two
seconds while the unit is powered and running.
Note
The IP address will also return to the default setting when the reset
button is pressed. See
information on re-configuring the unit IP address.
