Connect to the HTTP server on the HNVE130A by entering its IP address in
the URL link of our browser. For example http://xx.xx.xx.xx where xx is the IP
address of the HNVE130A.

Enter the user ID and password (see

Select the Channel (PTZ) menu item on the left-hand side.

Select Transparent from the Channel Model drop-down list. See
Figure 2-26

Set the Channel ID (Rx Address) to the same as the camera address set on
the dome.

Set the appropriate Baud rate, Data bits, Parity, and Stop bits for your PTZ
dome.

Click OK to register the selection.
10. Click Logout to exit the setup screen.
Once the HNVE130A has been configured for PTZ operation, verify that the PTZ
RS485 control outputs on the rear of the module are connected to the PTZ
camera according to the instructions in the PTZ Installation Guide (see
for location of PTZ control outputs). Also confirm that the PTZ camera protocols
and baud rates are correctly set and match the protocol selected by the
HNVE130A by referring to the PTZ Installation Guide.
Configure the DVM system for PTZ operation as follows:
1.
Open Internet Explorer and browse to the DVM home page.
2.
Select the desired HNVE130A from the camera list on the left-hand side (see
Figure
2-28).
3.
Select the Camera Control tab to open the control page (see

Set the Camera control type on the drop-down list to the appropriate PTZ
camera protocol (Pelco Dome for example).
5.
Select the Live View tab.
Note
The PTZ controls should now appear at the bottom of the live view
page.
6.
Test the PTZ controls to verify correct operation (see
Rev 1.04
for a complete list of the PTZ protocols supported.
