DDNS

It is recommended that static addresses be used as the DVM system does not
use DDNS.

Motion Detection

The DVM system does not use motion detection from the HNVE130A. However,
DVM system supports Video Analytics for HNVE130A.

Firmware Update

The firmware is updated from time to time to address problems and to add
features. Refer to
update your firmware.

PTZ Configuration

The HNVE130A supports several standard Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) protocols and
can be used to control the camera when viewing from the DVM client software, or
when viewing from the HNVE130A. Both the HNVE130A streamer and the DVM
software must be configured to support this application. There are two methods
to control PTZ cameras. In the first method the DVM System is configured to "use
streamer settings" to control the PTZ. The PTZ protocol is then selected by the
HNVE130A. In the second method the DVM system selects the PTZ protocol, and
the streamer passes the PTZ commands transparently to the PTZ camera.

PTZ Control Method: Using Streamer Settings

For this method, the PTZ protocol is selected by the streamer. The HNVE130A is
configured for PTZ operation through the HTTP interface as follows:
1.
Open internet explorer or another internet browser of your choice.
2.
Connect to the HTTP server on the HNVE130A by entering its IP address in
the URL link of our browser. For example http://xx.xx.xx.xx where xx is the IP
address of the HNVE130A.
3.
Enter the user ID and password (see
4.
Select the Server Settings hyperlink above the login box (see
5.
Select the Channel (PTZ) menu item on the left-hand side.
