Port
The web port value is set to a default of 80. If this number is changed, the new
port number will need to be appended to the URL (for example: xx.xx.xx.xx :yy,
where x is the IP address and y is the new port number). Most browsers will use a
default port of 80 and the port number does not need to be appended to the URL
address unless it is changed from the default value.
The video and audio port number is used by the DVM system to contact the
Encoder and should not be changed. The default port number for video and
audio is 1852.
Security
The security settings allow access to be restricted by client location within the
network. See
Figure
2-25.

Account
The account setting allows new user accounts to be created with different control
access. The DVM system will use the administrator ID "root" to access the
system. To change the DVM password, refer to
Changing the Password
on page
10. Other user accounts can be created using the add function. Also note that a
guest account is available with view only access and can be enabled or disabled
using the ENCP application.
