This chapter describes how to configure the basic settings of the ReadyDATA 5200. It contains
the following sections:
• Customize the Basic System Components
• Configure the Network Settings
• Configure Global File-Sharing Protocols
Note: Without at least one volume, changes are not saved after you reload
the ReadyDATA 5200. Make sure that you create a volume before
you configure the system, network, and global file-sharing protocol
settings, and before you update the firmware. For information about
how to configure volumes, see
Volumes.
