5.1

General Maintenance Work

5.1.1

Protective Bellows

The protective bellows need to be opened for certain
maintenance work and to replace certain parts on the
scissors lift table.
CAUTION
Crushing Hazard in the Scissors Element!
Hands or fingers could be crushed when raising or
lowering the platforms.
Open the protective bellows only when there are
no loads on the platforms.
Open the protective bellows only for the
maintenance work specified in these instructions.
Use the scissors lift table only with the protective
bellows in place.
Only qualified personnel may open the protective
bellows.
Keep hands and feet out of the scissors element.
Close the protective bellows after the maintenance
work has been completed.

There are two M5 screws on both the top and
bottom of each long side (33) on the scissors lift
table. Loosen all four M5 screws located at the
top of the long sides (33) and set them aside.

Undo the snaps (34).

Let the protective bellows (5) drop.

Mounting Bushing (1 piece per hydraulic cylinder)

Stop Screw (1 piece per hydraulic cylinder)

Perform the maintenance work.
5.
Pull up the protective bellows (5).
6.
Secure the protective bellows (5) to the top of
the scissors lift table with the M5 screws again.
Tighten the M5 screws by hand.
Close the snaps (34).
