T1 operation
T1 operation is to be implemented in accordance with the operating mode
"Manual with reduced velocity" as per ISO 10218-1.
The operating mode is intended for the following manual setup work:
• Movement of individual axes or of the entire robot arm together to a point in the
workspace
• Activation of installed gripper systems
8.1.3
T2 operation
In this operating mode, no persons or objects may be located in the danger
area of the APAS assistant. The safe distance between the calculated max.
stopping point of the robot arm and adjacent persons or objects must be at
least 500 mm.
T2 operation is to be implemented in accordance with the operating mode
"Manual with high velocity" as per ISO 10218-1.
The operating mode is intended for the following manual setup work:
• Test run of new workflows
• Test run of changed workflows
8.2 Decommissioning
Danger to life due to electric current and other energy sources
For dismantling, isolations and protective devices are disabled.

Make sure that the product is only dismantled by specialist personnel and in
compliance with the local safety regulations.
Disconnect the product from any external energy supply.

Before dismantling the product, verify that no residual energies

(e.g. pressure, voltage, etc.) are still present.
Drain fluids if necessary.

8.3 Disposal
Dismantling and disposal shall be performed by specialist companies in
consideration of the legal provisions of the owner's country of residence in
force at the time of disposal.
Protect the environment
Return any potentially harmful substances, such as lubricants or batteries, to the

appropriate disposal point.

Completely remove oils and other substances hazardous to water prior to any
dismantling for recycling or scrapping.
