5.2 Storing the product
Risk of damage
If force is applied to the sensor skin, the sensor system can be damaged.
Covers and protective film must be attached in such a way that the sensor

system of the sensor skin is not damaged.
Observe the ambient conditions during storage
„
(see Ambient conditions on page 42).
Cover the product completely in order to prevent contamination and dust
„
deposits.
Clean the product and apply an acid-free oil film to bare metal parts for
„
protection against corrosion.
Set the product down on a flat, level surface and secure the product against
„
tipping, rolling away or unauthorized use.
„
The product must be stored, packaged and transported in such a way that no
additional pressure is applied to the product (e.g. when stacked).
„
The product must not be exposed to any impact during storage or transport.
