5 Transport and storage
Observe the ambient conditions during transport and storage.
Transport the product in the intended transport packaging.
Observe the transport instructions on the packaging.
Use only suitable lifting/transport gear
(see Transporting the product on page 38).

5.1 Transporting the product

Bosch Rexroth AG is not liable for any damage caused by improper transport
of the products. The transport crate may only be unloaded and transported by
a specialist company or by trained personnel instructed on the safety
technology.
5.1.1

Removing the robot arm

Removing the robot arm from the transport pallet

Secure the robot arm against tipping.
Remove the nuts from the four screw connections (1) between the robot arm and
the transport pallet.
Removing the robot arm from the installation surface

Secure the robot arm against tipping.
Remove the screw connections between the robot arm and the installation
surface.
For transport by crane, screw the two holding plates (1) to the robot base using
the four cylinder screws (2).
Use the cylinder screws M12x25-8.8 included in the scope of delivery for this.
Tighten the screws with a tightening torque of 86 Nm.
