2. In the desired user's row, click Edit.
The Edit User page appears with the user's details. The options that appear on the page
depend on the software and services you are using.
3. To edit the user's details, do the following:
a. Edit the fields with the help of the below table.
b. Click Apply.
The changes are saved.
4. To return to the Users page without making any changes, click Cancel.

Enter a username for the user.
You cannot change the "admin" user's
username.
Enter a password for the user. Use five to
twenty-five alphanumeric characters (letters
or numbers) for the new password.
Select the user's level of access to the Nokia
IP40 portal:
The levels are:
• No Access: The user cannot access the
IP40.
• Read/Write: The user can log on to the
IP40 and modify system settings.
• Read Only: The user can log on to the
IP40, but cannot modify system settings.
For example, you could assign this
administrator level to technical support
personnel who need to view the Event
Log.
The default level is No Access.
The "admin" user's Administrator Level
(Read/Write) cannot be changed.
Allows the user to connect to this IP40 using
their VPN client. For further information on
setting up VPN remote access, see
13, "Working with VPNs."
This option is available in IP40 Satellite X
configuration only.
Allows the user to override web filtering.
This option only appears if the Web Filtering
service is defined.
