2. Double click the Network and Dial-up Connections icon (Network Connections icon from
Windows XP).
The Network and Dial-up Connections window appears.
3. Right-click the Local Area Connection icon and select Properties from the drop-down menu.
The Local Area Connection Properties window appears.
