(1) Start the M-Utility.
(2) Make shading/sensitivity corrections.

(3) Select either of the ST/HR menu items (1, 3, 5, or 6). Menu items (2 and 4) should not
be used.

❍ Making shading corrections without providing sensitivity corrections
3. SHADING AND POLYGON
❍ Making polygon corrections only
5. POLYGON ONLY
❍ Making sensitivity corrections only
6. SENSITIVITY ONLY
(4) If menu item 1 or 6 was selected, enter the corrected dose value. When any other
menu item was selected, skip to the next step.
(5) Choose "5. SCANNER UTILITY", "8. DATA MANAGEMENT", and then "1. SAVE
SHADING AND POLYGON DATA".
REFERENCE
After completion of shading/sensitivity corrections, back up the scanner data on a floppy
disk.
