[3] Entering the read width adjustment value
(1) Start the M-Utility.
(2) Choose "5. SCANNER UTILITY", "6. FORMAT", and then "2. FREQ ADJUST".
(3) Note the read width adjustment value that is written on the side plate label of the new
scanning optics unit. Type in this value and then press the [ENT] key.
(4) Choose "5. SCANNER UTILITY", "8. DATA MANAGEMENT", and then "3. SAVE
FORMAT DATA".
REFERENCE
After completion of format adjustment, back up the scanner data on a floppy disk.
[4] Entering the read start position adjustment value
(1) Have on hand an IP of the maximum size that is employed at the user site. Expose
this IP to 1 mR of radiation.
(2) Using "Sensitivity" on the IDT's test menu, record and output an image.
(3) Calculate the correction value.
Example) When a 14" x 17" 2-image output is generated

Correction value = Ax100/Bx10+10
(4) Start the M-Utility.
(5) Choose "5. SCANNER UTILITY", "6. FORMAT", and then "2. PIXEL ADJUST".
(6) Enter the correction value that was calculated in Step (3).
(7) Choose "5. SCANNER UTILITY", "8. DATA MANAGEMENT", and then "3. SAVE
FORMAT DATA".
REFERENCE
After completion of format adjustment, back up the scanner data on a floppy disk.
