Meaning
Off
No current disk activity.
Blinking green
Current disk activity.
Solid red
Hard-disk drive is turned on but is malfunctioning.
Solid green
Hard-disk drive is turned on and is functioning.
Off
One of the following:
• The hard-disk drive failed its test and was powered off.
• The hard-disk drive is ready to be removed using the hot
swap feature.
Blinking green
One of the following:
• The system is booting up.
• The hard-disk drive is starting up.
• The system is testing the hard-disk drive.
Note
Do not remove the hard-disk drive if the Status LED is blink-
ing green or if the Hot Swap Ready LED is not illuminated
solid blue.
