4.6 Connection Preparations

Step 1 Place the step ladder steadily behind the PDC, and remove rodent-proof meshes as necessary,
as shown in

Cable Layout Rule
The armoring layers of armored cables are grounded.
The PDC ground cable is secured to the equipment room ground bar. Use
a multimeter to measure the resistance between the PDC ground cable and
the equipment room ground bar. The reading must be less than 0.1 ohm.
Cables are securely connected in the correct phase sequence.
Cables are neatly arranged, and cable insulation layers are intact.
Different types of cables are bound separately.
Connection ports and cabling methods facilitate maintenance, cable
routing, and capacity expansion.
Cable connectors prepared onsite must be normal, secure, reliable, and
neat.
Power cables, ground cables, and various signal cables are securely
connected. Adapters are securely plugged or screwed.
The N and PE cables are bound separately from the L1/L2/L3 or L cables
for each circuit breaker. Cables are converged at the beam and bound in
groups by cable ties.
