4.2.3 Preparing Consumables

(Optional) Prepare firestop putty for sealing cable holes after cable connection. The firestop
putty is to be prepared by the customer.

Construction personnel must have basic knowledge of safe operation, be trained to master
correct operation methods, and have the appropriate job qualifications.

4.3 Packing, Transportation, and Unpacking

Packing
Unless otherwise stipulated, select appropriate packing and transportation units according to
Huawei transportation specifications.
Use appropriate packing materials to protect cabinets during transportation and storage. The
standard packing materials include:

To prevent moisture, pack cabinets with film, and fill desiccants between the film and
cabinets.
Transportation and Unpacking


Construction personnel have been trained and qualified by Huawei to master methods for
system installation and commissioning, and have obtained work permits before they
begin to install and commission equipment.
Technical personnel from the customer have been trained by Huawei and have mastered
the methods for installation and construction.
The number of construction personnel depends on the project progress and the
installation environment.
Construction personnel have read through the safety precautions and related product
documents before they begin work.
Huawei will not be liable for any consequences caused if the installation environment does not meet the
requirements.
