o Each SCM provides 12 additional conference circuits (5 parties ea.)
o You can install 2 SCM's per LP40, however, you can only 12 conference
circuits from ONE of them. This means (6+12) 18 Maximum conference
circuits per LP40.
o When you have 2 SCM's on an LP40 card, you CAN get 12 DTMFR's per
SCM for a total of 12+12=24 DTMFR's from the 2 of them together.
o MAX 54 Conference circuits per system (3 cabinet system with 3 SCM
cards...one SCM per LP40). (6+12)x3 LP40's= 54.
o Each LP40 provides 8 DTMFR's by DEFAULT with NO daughter cards
installed.
There are three positions to mount optional daughter cards in the LP40.

An optional MODEM daughter card can be installed only on the MP40. This Modem
daughter card is the same card used in the OfficeServ 500 system. This modem is
used for WebMMC connections to the system (if you choose not to connect using the
LAN connection).
