Remove the 6 torx-head screws (M6.0 x 22 mm)
from the left side panel and remove the side
panel

Disconnect the negative (–) battery cable from
the battery and then the positive (+) battery
cable as shown in

Remove the 2 flange-head bolts (5/16 x 3/4
inch) that secure the battery tray to the frame

side panel

Removing the Rubber Covers
