Installing the ROPS

Parts needed for this procedure:

Right ROPS bracket

Flange-head bolt (1/2 x 3-1/2 inches)

Drilling the Hole for the ROPS
Brackets
CAUTION
Use caution when drilling the holes into the
right side of the frame on an electric machine.
If you drill too far, you could damage the
batteries or other components.
1.
Align a ROPS bracket with the 2 holes behind
the seat base and the hole toward the front of
the frame rail as shown in
Figure 20

Using a clamp, secure the ROPS bracket in
place.

Mark the hole locations on the ROPS bracket
(Figure
20).

Using a ROPS bracket as a guide, drill 3 holes
(13.5 mm or 17/32 inch) into the frame
