Installing the Windshield
Parts needed for this procedure:

Windshield

Shoulder bolt (5/16 x 1-1/4 inches)

Hex-head flange bolt (1/4 x 1-1/2 inches)

Rubber bushing

Windshield support assembly

Windshield bracket

Nut (5/16 inch)

Nut (1/4 inch)
1. Shoulder bolt (5/16 x 1-1/4 inches)
2. Backup washer
Procedure
1.
Use 1 hex-head flange bolt (1/4 x 1-1/2 inches)
and 1 nut (1/4 inch) to secure the windshield
bracket to the windshield support assembly
(Figure
61).

2. Nut (1/4 inch)

Use 4 hex-head flange bolts (1/4 x 1-1/2 inches)
and 4 nuts (1/4 inch) to secure the windshield
support assembly to the right and left windshield
supports

Install the windshield with 8 shoulder bolts (5/16
x 1-1/4 inches), 8 backup washers, 16 rubber
bushings, and 8 nuts (5/16 inch) as shown in
Figure
62.
