o Each SCM provides 12 additional conference circuits. (5 parties ea.)
o You can install 2 SCMs per LP40; however, you can only 12 conference circuits from
ONE of them. This means (6+12) 18 maximum conference circuits per LP40.
o When you have 2 SCMs on an LP40 card, you CAN get 12 DTMFRs per SCM for a
total of 12+12=24 DTMFRs from the 2 of them together.
o MAX 54 conference circuits per system (3-cabinet system with 3 SCM cards, one
SCM per LP40). (6+12)x3 LP40s= 54.
o Each LP40 provides 8 DTMFRs by DEFAULT with NO daughtercards installed.
There are three positions to mount optional daughtercards in the LP40.

Modules
An optional MODEM daughtercard can be installed only on the MP40. This modem
daughtercard is the same card used in the OfficeServ 500 system. This modem is used for
WebMMC/Installation Tool connections to the system (if you choose not to connect using the
LAN connection).
