The N2000 BMS is configured to automatically detect devices when devices are added. The
N2000 BMS, however, fails to detect devices sometimes and the devices cannot be found. Ping
a large number of gateway addresses and network disconnection occurs. Disable the network
card and then enable it, the system prompts that the connection fails. In this case, you must
restart the N2000 BMS server to continue to add devices. This fault, however, reoccurs some
time later.

The status of the C6509 port that connects the server is set to Speed 100M & Duplex FULL.

After you query the status of the network card on the server, the network card is in the
auto-negotiation and half-duplex mode when the gateway is disconnected. The network card,
however, recovers to the auto-negotiation and full-duplex mode after you restart the server.
After a period of time, the network card works in the auto-negotiation and half-duplex again.
Hence, this fault may be caused by auto-negotiation error.
Handling Proce
Select My Computer, right-click, and then choose Properties > Hardware > Device Manager >

Network adapters. Select the working network card, right-click, and choose Properties. In the
dialog box that is displayed, click the Advanced tab. In the Properties dialog box, select Speed
& Duplex and set the value to 100Mb Full. Then restart the server. The fault does not reoccur.
