svcadm: Pattern 'svc:/network/tftp/udp6:default' doesn't match any instances
Please execute following,add this service into svc control list to solve it:
#inetconv -i /etc/inet/inetd.conf 1>/dev/null 2>&1
#svcadm enable svc:/network/tftp/udp6:default
2. How to query TFTP service
#netstat -a | grep tftp //The TFTP is running if you get following
*.tftp
*.tftp
You also can query it by command "svcs |grep tftp", or "ps -ef|grep tftp".
#svcs |grep tftp

3. How to stop TFTP server
1) For Solaris 8, please stop it by following:
# cd /etc/init.d
# ./inetsvc stop
2) For Solaris 10, please stop it by following:
# svcadm disable svc:/network/tftp/udp6:default
4. How to modify the default path of TFTP server
The default path of TFTP server is /tftpboot，if you want to modify it, such as /export/home/tftpboot, Please do it like fo
1) Stop TFTP server.
2）Modify the configuration file. Please edit the file named inetd.conf, modify
tftp dgram udp6 wait root /usr/sbin/in.tftpd in.tftpd -s /tftpboot
To
tftp dgram udp6 wait root /usr/sbin/in.tftpd in.tftpd -s /export/home/tftpboot
Save and quit.
3) Start TFTP server.
For Solaris 8, please start it by following:
#cd /etc/init.d
#./inetsvc start
For Solaris 10, please start it by following:
#rm /var/svc/manifest/network/tftp-udp6.xml
#inetconv -i /etc/inet/inetd.conf
#svcadm enable svc:/network/tftp/udp6:default
