Phenomenon
two different problems were observed on SIP trunks
Description:
1.Call connects and the peer switch sends us SIP acknowedge request, but our switch
do not accept it and the call drops after about ~33 seconds.
2.we send INVITE SDP and offers the codecs in responce the peer switch sends OK
SDP (g711A)but our switch does not sends them ACK rather it sends 6 more INVITE
messages & after 7 conteneous INVITE the session closed and call do not connected.

Cause
Multicast streams are copied on logics. The total traffic of logics and chip 251 is restricted to 1
Analysis:
Gbit/s and 512 (16 x 32) subscribers can be connected to one chip 251.If all 461 subscribers are
connected to one chip 251, the traffic is 2849.4 (5.4 x 461) Mbit/s, which is larger than the traffic
restriction. As a result, packet loss and erratic display occur.
Handling
If the program stream is 5.4 Mbit/s, a maximum of 185 subscribers connected to one chip 251
Process:
can watch the program normally. The system supports a maximum of 370 (185 x 2) subscribers
who can watch the program normally. The maximum number of subscribers is (1000/bandwidth
occupied by each program stream) x 2. Reduce the bandwidth of the program stream to 2 Mbit/s
(1000/2 = 500 subscribers) and conduct a test. As a result, the multicast stream can be copied to
all STBs.
Suggestions
The traffic of the UA5000 is restricted. In services with large traffic such as the open multicast,
and summary:
services may be affected when the traffic exceeds the total traffic restriction. This performance of
the device helps test and troubleshooting in daily maintenance.
