1. How to start TFTP server
1) Login path /etc , to check that whether there is a character "#" at the beginning of following sentence in the file named
#vi inetd.conf
......
tftp dgram udp6 wait root /usr/sbin/in.tftpd in.tftpd -s /tftpboot
......
If there is the character, please delete it, save and quit.
Above is for Solaris 8, for Solaris 10, the file's path is /etc/inet/inetd.conf.
2) For Solaris 8, please start it by following:
#cd /etc/init.d
#./inetsvc start
3) For Solaris 10, please start it by following:
#svcadm enable svc:/network/tftp/udp6:default
