⿎ Detaching Method of Batteries
In case of disposal of laser marker in the European Union, remove the battery with the following procedures and
segregate it properly in accordance with the EU Battery Directive (2006/66/EC).

Notice
• This method is never described with the replacing method of the battery. The customer should call our service
representative to replace the battery.
1.
Remove the side cover of the controller.
Remove 6 screws of the side cover as shown in the figure below, and then slide the cover backward.
After removing the cover, the battery is installed in the position as shown in the right figure below (surrounded with
circle).
2.
Remove the used battery as shown in the figure below.
Cut 2 banding bands by using the nipper. Then, remove the connector of the battery, and remove the battery from the
board.

• When detaching the exhausted battery, be sure to disconnect the controller
power cable so that the power cannot be supplied to the device. There is a risk
of electrical shock.
