CRANKCASE/CRANKSHAFT
CRANKCASE SEPARATION
Remove the cam chain tensioner slipper by removing the bolt.
Remove the cam chain.
Remove the nine crankcase attaching bolts and heat insulator.
Place the crankcase with the left crankcase down and remove
the right crankcase.
CAUTION
• Never pry the crankcase mating surfaces apart.
Remove the gasket and dowel pins.
Remove the crankshaft from the left crankcase.
