Operating the LKAS
When travelling in a lane
When making a lane
change
When travelling in a lane
As the car becomes closer to either
the left or right lane line, the
steering torque that is applied by the
system becomes stronger. As the car
starts to return to the centre of the
lane, the torque becomes weaker.
Lane Keeping Assist System (For some types)
: The LKAS is in operation
: The LKAS is suspended
When making a lane change
When you operate turn signals to
change lanes, the system is
suspended. Torque will not be
applied to the steering wheel. After
you change lanes and the signals are
off, the LKAS resumes when the
lanes are detected.
LKAS Camera
LKAS CAMERA
The LKAS camera is attached
behind the rear-view mirror.
For the camera's proper operation;
Do not touch the lens.
Do not block the camera's view.
Keep the windscreen clean.
Avoid bumping the camera.
