ABOUT AVAILABLE COMMUNICATION MODES

The repeater mode is available in TKR-D710/ TKR-D810.

Repeater Mode

This is the mode to relay the received signal by using the Repeat PTT control if the repeater receives a signal. This
mode is used to allow subscriber units to communicate with each other via the repeater.

In DMR Digital Conventional, multiple repeaters installed in different locations can be interconnected via an IP
network by connecting the optional network interface unit (KTI-5) to the repeater. Using this function, a subscriber
unit can communicate with a distant subscriber unit via an IP network.
Also, if a moving subscriber unit goes outside of the communication area, the subscriber unit can communicate via
the repeater if there is a repeater connected to an IP network in the location where the subscriber unit is used.

Also, transmission can be made by using the PTT (microphone) switch.
In DMR Digital Conventional, a Group Call or an Unaddress Call can be made in the repeater mode when the PTT
(microphone) switch is pressed by using Selcall on PTT. (Refer to
