ABOUT AVAILABLE COMMUNICATION MODES

About Communication Methods

The following communication methods are available in the repeater mode.

Configuring the Reception Method of a Channel (Channel
Type).)
Analog Conventional
This is the communication method to transmit and receive an analog signal. The channel utilizing this
communication method is referred to as an "analog channel".
DMR Digital Conventional
This is the communication method to transmit and receive a digital signal by using the DMR protocol. The channel
utilizing this communication method is referred to as a "DMR digital channel".
When the repeater transmits a DMR digital signal by using the PTT (microphone) switch, Unit ID (Own) is required.
