During AutoPlay
accompaniment and
melody etc. are out
of time.
The forward and
back buttons do
not work.
The contents of
programs change or
are erased.
Noise is sometimes
audible when play-
| ing the keyboard.
1. A 3-beat rhythm (waltz) was
programmed with a 4-beat tune.
2. Though repetition symbols were
programmed in the POLY and
MONO channels, they were left
out in the CHORD channel.
1. Enter a rhythm suitable for
the tune.
2. Enter the repetition symbols at
the equivalent points in the
CHORD channel too.
The Keyboard Mode Selector is not
set to MEMORY or J4 when correct-
ing a program.
When correcting pitches and
chords, set to MEMORY. When
correcting duration of notes and
chords, set to
.
1. The batteries are spent.
2. The power was turned off during
programming.
3. The tape was stopped during data
loading before the transmission had
been completed.
Noise from refrigerators, washing
machines or similar electrical
equipment.
1. Replace all the batteries with
new ones.
2. If you save a program on tape,
you can load it any time you
want.
3. Do not stop the tape until
loading has been completed.
Use an outlet as far as possible
from the equipment thought to
be the cause of the noise.
Signals from radio
is sometimes audible
when playing the
keyboard,
No sound from the
microphone con-
nected to the mix-
ing mike terminal.
A strong transmitter is in your
vicinity.
1. The mixing volume is turned
down.
2. The main volume is turned down.
3. No power is connected to micro-
phones having a power switch.
Try changing the position of your
KX-101.
1. Turn up the mixing volume.
2. Turn up the main volume.
3. Turn on power to the micro-
phone.
