@Deleting and Correcting Programs
Deleting Programs
1) Deleting the whole program (all clear)
(@)Set the Keyboard Mode to MEMORY.
(@)While pressing the RESET button, press the Clear button
[€] at the same time.
* If the power is turned off, all programmed contents is erased. Saving, the contents
of pro-
grams you
want to store on cassette tape will allow you to load them into the memory
of your KX-101 as often as you want. (See p. 36 for "Saving Programs on Cassette Tape")
2) Deleting Only a Certain Channel
(Set the Keyboard Mode to MEMORY.
(2) Select the channel you want to delete (POLY/MONO/CHORD).
(3)Press the Clear button.
Correcting Programs
By using the forward, back or delete buttons etc., programs can be corrected during program-
ming or after its completion.
Forward button
.....
In the MEMORY
mode, pressing this button once advances the tune
by one note or one chord, and lets you listen to that sound.
Back button ........
In the MEMORY
mode, pressing this button once moves the tune
backward by one note or chord, and lets you listen to that sound.
* When operating the forward and back buttons, not only the sounds of notes (pitches) and
chords will be heard, but also a high-pitched confirmation sound in the case of other music
data (such as tone color or fill in, etc.), Please note that operating the forward and back
buttons does not change the durations of notes, rests or chords.
Delete button .......
Pressing this button
during programming
deletes one note (pitch),
one chord, or one other piece of music information. In such a case,
the sound preceding it is heard.
Example 1)
You immediately noticed that you have made a mistake when programming the pitches.
Operation:
First press the delete button, then the correct key on the keyboard.
The mistaken pitch is deleted and the correct pitch entered instead.
* Operation is the same for types of chords and other music information.
Example 2)
After completing programming, you notice that the fourth pitch from the start (or the chord
or other music information) is wrong.
Operation:
(@ Set the Keyboard Mode to MEMORY.
@) Select the channel you wish to correct (POLY/MONO/CHORD).
@Press
the forward
button
4 times. (If tone color, fill in, repeat symbols etc. have been
entered before the 4th pitch, the number of times you press the forward button must be
increased accordingly.)
@ Listen to the sounds played each time the forward button is pressed as a yardstick.
