Names and Functions of Each Part
@0 Play Button (PLAY)
Starts playback of the inserted tape. In case of digital tapes with recordings of music data, the
data is automatically loaded to the keyboard section, and Auto Play begins.
@i) >» Button (FF/Fast Forward)
Advances the tape at high speed.
@ Record Button (REC)
Starts recording (or saving of music data).
@)Pause Button (PAUSE)
If pressed during recording or playback, temporarily stops the tape. Pressing it again restarts
recording or playback.
@ Record Mute Button
Pressing this button during recording allows you to cut out unnecessary parts between tunes
and create blanks.
2) Counter/Counter Reset Button (COUNTER RESET)
Pressing the counter reset button resets the counter to 000.
@8) Tape Selector (TAPE)

@) Space Search Button (SPACE SEARCH)
After detecting unrecorded portions ona
tape during fast forward, this function automatically
rewinds the tape and stops at the spot where a recording can begin (blank search function).
@) Restart Record Button (REC RETURN)
Pressing this button if you made a mistake when recording automatically rewinds the tape to
the point where the recording started and stops.
2 Repeat Button (REPEAT)
For performing repeated playback.
G0 Single Button (SINGLE)
After searching out the beginning of a tune, plays back only that one tune.
3) Program Button (PROGRAM)
For programming the order of the tunes to be played back and playing them back.
(62 Shuffle Button (SHUFFLE)
Makes a random selection of tunes and plays them back in that random order,
$3) Intro Button (INTRO)
After searching out the beginnings of tunes, plays each of them for about 25 seconds and then
goes on to the next tune,
5) Ten-Keys (0 ~ 9)
Used
for entering the tune
numbers
necessary
during Direct Playback, Program Playback
(specifying the playback order), for fast forward or rewind to a tune whose number has been
specified, for Direct Recording, etc.
G6) Set Key (SET)
Used for programming the order of the tunes in Program Playback.
@?) Clear Key (C)
Press this key when you have made a mistake using the ten-keys.
