Loading a Program that has been Saved

If there is an unrecorded
section of tape between
recordings of music data, this function
advances the tape at high speed when such a blank is encountered, and loads the next music
data, after which Auto Play commences.

(5) Programmed Playback ( () )
The order of the tunes to be played can be programmed
freely. The order of the tunes is
programmed
using the ten-keys.
If the PROGRAM
button
is then
pressed, the tunes are
loaded and then palyed in the programmed order. (See p13 for the programming procedure.)
* If the tape was inserted for the first time, it is rewound
once before Program
Playback
commences.
'SHUFFLE
(6) Shuffle Playback ( () )
Pressing the SHUFFLE
button causes the tunes to be selected randomly and then loaded and
played one after the other at random.
REPEAT
(7) Repeat Playback ( C) )
Repeat Playback (loading and automatic play) can be used in combination with the following
5 playback
modes:
normal
playback
(pressing the PLAY
button), Single Playback, Jump
Playback, Intro Playback and Programmed
Playback. The number of repetitions is determined
by the number of times the REPEAT button is pressed. (See p13 for details.)
* Please note, however, that in the case of digital tapes, REPEAT
button operation is not
possible during loading of music data (while the tape is moving).
(8) Fast forward or rewinding to the data of a specified tune
You can load a tune by specifying its number, for instance the 6th tune following the present
one, or the fifth tune
before the present one. The KX-101
will automatically advance or
rewind the tape to the specified music data recording. (See p14 for details.)
® When using the Expansion
RAM
Pack (RA-10), the time necessary for loading is
about 37 seconds.
e During loading, no buttons except for the STOP button are functional.
