[C | Programming the CHORD Channel
1) Programming the types of chords
(1 Set the channel to CHORD and the Keyboard Mode to MEMORY.

(2) Using the chord selectors, enter the types of chords in the correct order. (The duration of
the chords
is irrelevant at this point.) The rhythm
is entered
at the point where
the
thythm is supposed to start (just before the first chord). Rhythm stop is entered with the
SYNCHRO/STOP
button (Z§* ) at the point where the rhythm is supposed to stop (just
after the point where you entered the last chord).

* The non-chord (N.C.) for the first bar should not be entered yet.
In order to enter

etc. accurately, keep the chord type key ~4 pressed while pressing
the basic sound key

2) Programming the duration of the chords

(2) While reading the score, enter the durations of the chords with the appropriate keys.
* The N.C. at the beginning is input as a rest. Since the duration is one beat, press [J (See
p. 28 for N.C. programming.)

With this, the programming of our tune is completed. Set the Keyboard Mode to PLAY, press
the AUTO
button and, listening to the automatic performance, confirm
that the tune has
been programmed correctly.
If you notice a mistake during or after Music Programming, please perform the opera-
tions for correction described on page 30 under "Deleting and Correcting a Program'.
