2G Lift Dialer

3.18. relay1: Bell maNaGemeNt (COmmaND 84t#)

For the connection between 2G Lift Dialer and VoiceBox Car you can use the 2 wires already present and normally
used for the bell.
Here below the installation procedure to be carried on with 2G Lift Dialer powered off.
In the machine room, looks for the 2 wires going to the bell and connect them to Relay1 N.O. pins of 2G Lift Dialer (pins
12-13). The bell must be powered with external power supply.
The old 2 wires of the bell that from the machine room goes down to the cabin are to be connected to pins 5-6 of 2G Lift Dialer.
The other end of the old 2 wires of the bell arriving in the cabin are to be disconnected from the alarm button and connected
to the pins 1-2 of VoiceBox.
The Alarm button in the car, either N.O. or N.C. is to be connected to pins 4-11 of VoiceBox.
Now you can power on 2G Lift Dialer and go on with the configuration by inserting at least one telephone number for the
alarm calls and by enabling the management of the bell with the command 8 4 [s]#

From 1 to 98
bell management enabled: after the alarm detection (default 5 seconds), Relay1 closes for the
set time, minimum 1 second, maximum 98 seconds

bell management enabled: after the alarm detection (default 5 seconds) Relay1 closes till the
speakerphone in car is active.
When the bell management is enabled, if the installation has been successful, the closing of Relay1 will activate the bell
simultaneously to the power on of the yellow led (sent Alarm) of VoiceBox. The bell will ring for the set time unless the
speakerphone in the car enables before the time is expired. The speakerphone will be enabled by the Support Center or
by the Assistance personell by pressing the code (default 3) after receiving the call.
At the end of the alarm call, if the code of end alarm (default 19) is pressed, the bell does not restart because the alarm
has been reset. If the call is interrupted without the Reset code, then the bell will restart ringing for the set time and till the
speakerphone is newly activated in the car.

3.19. relay 2: ItalIaN laW 13 maNaGemeNt (COmmaND 831#)

According to Italian law 13, the Remote Alarm can automatically close Relay2 (pin15-16) at the moment you off-hook the
phone and open Relays2 again when you hang up.
To manage Relay2 according to Italian Law 13, enter 2G Lift Dialer configuration by inserting the password, then send
the command 831# . To disable Relay2 and do not manage Italian Law 13, send the command 830#.
In the factory configuration Relay2 is not managed according to Italian Law 13.

3.20. alarm FIlterING

2G Lift Dialer can filter the alarm calls. For this functionalities it is necessary to connect pins 7 and 10 of the terminal board
to the frame controller of every single lift.
According to EN81-28 Regulation, the control logic of the panel should keep the contacts closed:
• when the car is in the zone of doors unlocking and the car and floor doors are completely open;
• when the car is moving and the doors open to the following stop.
When pins 7-10 are closed, the Emergency phone doesn't make the alarm call if the same has been activated by the Car
through VoiceBox Car (8D5804).
No filter of alarms is provided instead for the alarm calls generated by the maintenance and installation people, with
VoiceBox Top/Pit (8D5780) properly configurated as Top or Pit.
