Introduction

SerialPort configuration

xConfiguration SerialPort Mode

Enable/disable the serial port (connection via USB and RS-232 adapter).
Requires user role: ADMIN
Default value: On
USAGE:
xConfiguration SerialPort Mode:
where
Mode
: Off/On
Off: Disable the serial port.
On: Enable the serial port.

xConfiguration SerialPort BaudRate

Define the baud rate (data transmission rate, bits per second) for the serial port. The default
value is 38400.
Other connection parameters for the serial port are: Data bits: 8; Parity: None; Stop bits: 1; Flow
control: None.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Default value: 115200
USAGE:
xConfiguration SerialPort BaudRate:

: 9600/19200/38400/57600/115200
Set a baud rate from the baud rates listed (bps).

On: Login is required when connecting to the codec via the serial port.
