Insert the SIM card into the card slot (in the lid), so that the gold contacts face downwards in the
closed end and the beveled side is at the open end of the lid.
Click the lid shut again and gently slide the metal bracket outwards.
Connect the modem plug back to the power supply.
Attention: There are two power supply plugs for the modem (see Figure 4). Connect the battery or
the power supply to the connector labeled "Battery", or the modem will not work. The plug labeled
"Uext" is provided for future development and cannot currently be used.
Screw the EK280 housing back on.
For an EK280 with power supply, reconnect the mains voltage.
