Setting Fence Stops

The fence stops simplify the task of adjusting the
fence to 45˚ inward, 90˚, and 45˚ outward (135˚).
Tools Needed
45° Square ........................................................ 1
90° Square ........................................................ 1
Sliding Bevel ...................................................... 1
Open-End Wrench 13mm .................................. 1
Setting 45° Inward Fence Stop
1.
Use a 45˚ square to adjust fence to 45˚
inward position, as shown in Figure 68.

Loosen jam nut shown in Figure 69.

3.
Adjust 45˚ stop bolt until it makes contact with
135° stop bolt (see Figure 69).
4.
Retighten jam nut loosened in Step 2.
Setting 90° Fence Stop
1.
Use a 90˚ square to adjust fence to 90˚ (see
Figure 70).

2.
Flip 90˚ swing stop into position shown in
Figure 71.

3.
Loosen jam nut on 90˚ fence stop bolt (see
Figure 71).
4.
Adjust the 90˚ fence stop bolt until it makes
contact with 90˚ swing stop.
5.
Retighten jam nut loosened in Step 3.
