There are four LEDs on the front of the CU310-2 housing.

The various LEDs are switched either on or off as the Control Unit powers up (depending on the
phase that the system is currently in). When switched on, the color of the LEDs shows the status
of the corresponding power-up phase.
In the event of a fault, power up will be ended in the corresponding phase. The LEDs that are
switched on retain their colors so that the fault can be determined on the basis of the
combination of the color LEDs that are lit and unlit.
All the LEDs go out briefly if the CU310-2 has ramped up without error. The system is ready for
operation when the LED "RDY" is permanently green.
