Changing the Hydraulic Fluid (continued)
1. Prepare the machine for maintenance.
2. Open the hood.
3. Align the drain pan under the hydraulic tank.
4. Disconnect the case-return hose
straight fitting
drain hydraulic fluid.
5. When the hydraulic fluid stops draining,
assemble the case-return hose to the tank
fitting.
6. Torque the hose fitting to 50 to 63 N∙m (37 to
47 ft-lb).
Filling the Hydraulic Tank
1. Fill the reservoir with the specified hydraulic fluid.
Use only the hydraulic fluids specified. Other fluids could cause system damage.
2. Install the dipstick
to the tank.
3. Start the engine and operate all the hydraulic
controls to distribute hydraulic fluid throughout
the system.
4. Check for hydraulic leaks, shut off the engine,
and remove the key.
Note:
5. Close and latch the hood.
6. Check the fluid level.
Note:
