6-11 Controlling VTRs from the RM-D800

JOG/SHUTTLE key
Puts your VTR into Still mode, and allows you to use the JOG/
SHUTTLE dial.
DOWN/UP keys
When your IN memory point is recalled in the LOCATE TIME
window, each time you press UP while holding IN, the memory point
will increment by 1 frame. To decrement the memory point, press
DOWN while holding down IN. Your OUT memory point can also be
finely tuned in a similar way.
RHSL key
Puts the VTR into Preview mode.
This key has no effect on Sony BVU-800 series machines.
AUTO IN/OUT key
Puts the VTR into Auto Edit mode.
This key has no effect on Sony BVU-800 series machines.
REPEAT key
Puts the VTR into Review mode.
Pressing this key again after once Review starts, your VIR will switch
to Out Point Monitor.
CLR key
When pressed, the LOCATE TIME display is cleared and shows
00.00.
If you hold IN/OUT and press CLR, the auto in/out point memory is
cleared.
