Entering an Offset

1 Press MACHINE.
"Select" will appear in the LOCATE TIME window.
2 Press 1 to select machine 1 as the master.
Go
Press MENU until the LCD screen reads:
Machine 2 Offset
+00:00:00:00
ABS
Each time you press MENU while holding SHIFT, the machine
number will change in sequence (2 to 6).
4 Enter the desired time with the + and - keys.
To move the cursor, hold SHIFT and press the +/- key.
To change the + (ahead) to - (behind) or vise versa, shift the cursor
there, then press the +/- key.
If there are other machines you want to lock up to the master with
offset, repeat procedure for each machine.
5 Once you have entered the desired offset time(s), press CHASE
and enter the slave machine number to autolocate it to the same
time point as the master. Repeat this for each slave.
From now on all your slave machines will run in sync the entered
offset times ahead or behind the master, as you operate the remote
transport control buttons .
To finely adjust the offset value
In the "Machine Offset" menu you can move the cursor to the right of
the frame first digit by means of the SHIFT and +/- keys.

Then if you hold down the +/- key, the frame numbers increment, and
after a while, overflow, causing the second numbers to increment.
Unless you release the key, the minute numbers and then the hour
numbers will increment likewise.
To upload the offset time from the LOCATE TIME window
Any numbers you enter into the LOCATE TIME window using the
numeric key will be uploaded to the Machine Offset menu when you
hold SHIFT and press ENTER. Needless to say, you have to be at the
Machine Offset menu when you press ENTER.
