Event Output Facility
To use this facility, DIP switch located inside the RM-D800 should be
set properly. Consult your nearest SONY service facility.
5 Event output ports can be available using PLAY, FF, REW, STOP
and REC output pins of EXT 1 connector (#1, 2, 3, 5 and 6). Each port
can output a one-shot pulse twice.
Event point (time) can be selected from MEMO 01 to 99.
Event pulse width can be set from 00 to 990 ms (milliseconds) in
10 ms steps.

The asterisk on the second line shows that Event 1 is enabled at the
Event 1 On/Off menu and that you cannot change the current Pol and
Width settings. If you wish to change the current settings, go to the
Event On/Off menu screen first, and select "Off".
Event setting
1 Specify all the parameters using the + and — keys.
To move the cursor, hold down SHIFT and press + or -.
2 When the screen is satisfactory, press ENTER.
Each time you press MENU, you have access to the next Event
menu.
3 To go to another setting screen, press SHIFT and MENU as many
times as required.
4 Repeat the steps 1 and 2 for that Event.
