There are different methods to perform measurements and calculations of the Mitral Valve in
the Spectral-Doppler mode:

To measure the Items One by One

1. After obtaining a feasible Doppler spectrum, press the [Calc] key on the control panel.
2. Select the measurement item [MV] and then select [Manual Trace]. A cursor appears on
the Doppler spectrum.
3. Move the cursor to the start point of the period and press the right or left trackball key
[Set] to fix the marker. Begin trace.
To re-adjust the traced line, press the upper trackball key [Undo] repeatedly.
4. Trace to the end of the period and press the [Set] key again to fix the mark.
