The safety instructions contained within this document are the result of risk evaluations. The different safety
signs inform the operator and other personnel working with, or close to the Arcam EBM

Different symbols are used to emphasise information. The following safety symbols are frequently used.

This symbol is used to warn about immediate danger of fatal and/or severe body injury and/or
fatal equipment damage.

This symbol is used to warn about certain actions that m m i i g g h h t t cause lesser body injuries and/or
lesser equipment damage. This caution can be levelled up to I I m m p p o o r r t t a a n n t t and then W W a a r r n n i i n n g g de-
pending on the severity of the warning.

This symbol is used to warn about crush and/or pinch hazards.

This symbol is used to warn about a serious risk of electric shock injury.

This symbol is used to warn about hot surfaces (>50 ºC) and indicates a risk of burn injury.
